Though some regular meetups like our own Swift Office Hours will be taking the month off, there are still plenty of opportunities to celebrate and learn with fellow designers and devs this month—from holiday parties to discussions about how IoT and robotics are changing are future.
Though Thanksgiving week will be a quiet one (everyone should be busy eating turkey and stuffing, after all) the rest of this month is packed with opportunities to hear succesful women share their career path, participate in hackathons, or hear more about voice-based digital interactions. Oh, and the inlaws aren't the only ones in town this month; the voice of Siri will be in Boston for SwiftFest 2017.

Let’s take a look at the types of digital realities that currently exist, and how they differ from each other. Currently there are three major types of virtual experiences: virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR).
